Biograpghy
Danielle Christie TV Personality, Presenter and Writer has always had
a massive passion for cars, and petrol in her veins. Starting in
Dance, she trained as a Hip Hop street dancer, and toured with UK
and London based Hip Hop crews. She left the dance world as she was
fuelled with a love for cars, starting with modelling in the car
industry. Television production company Endemol approached Danielle
to appear as cast in the first series of The Garage as an apprentice
mechanic working in Marbella Spain. Being the main cast member of this
flagship show for The Discovery Channel propelled her to stardom in
the motoring world and beyond. Her appearance in the show gave it its
highest ratings to date. Five years on the show is still syndicated
throughout the world contributing to her solid and growing fan base in
Australia, Asia and Europe.
After leaving the show Danielle was approached to do presenting and
has been representing brands including Castrol and Halfords, and
appearing in press & media for TV shows around the world, including
ITV’s ‘Revved Up’. The adventurous TV presenter attended Drift School
and passed. She will soon be attending stunt school and filming the
process for a coming pilot.
Danielle appears at live shows within the UK and Europe including The
Essen Motor Show and The French Motor Show. She also tours around the
world as a TV personality presenting car events and major main stage
and action arenas. After being recently flown to Australia to present
and personally appear at car festival ‘Summernats’, she attracted an
attendance of over 130,000 people, she will be appearing in Australia
in August this year.
